3 Ways to Make Your Publisher Notice You
What’s better than fulfilling your dream of being a published author?
Knowing that your book has found its audience and sells.
This is the information that I wish all the authors I worked with over my 10+ years at a traditional publisher knew. Knowing and acting on this information will set you apart from other authors out there.
If you want your story to sell, you have to tell your story.
A Series of Workshops + 2 private strategic implementation sessions
Raise your hand if you have ever had these thoughts…
I’m a writer, not a marketer. Where and how do I even begin marketing my book?
I have to market my book? Isn’t my publisher going to do that?
If people want my book, they will find it. Isn’t that what Google is for?
Isn’t my part done once I’ve finished writing my book?
Marketing your book is absolutely part of your job as the author. In fact, it’s one of the main parts of your job.
This is for the author who:
Has or wants a book deal with traditional publisher
Wants to be an effective partner to their Publisher's Marketing Department
Wants to make sure their book sells
Wants to market their book with confidence and ease
Is willing to do the work and invest the time into marketing their book
This is NOT for the author who:
Thinks their publisher will do all the book marketing
Does not have an open mind or willingness to try new things
Wants someone to do all the work for him/her
Keep your eye on the prize... build your author brand and connect with your readers.
Do you feel overwhelmed with the information out there? Do you have specific questions you want answered? Do you want a customized roadmap? I’ve got you covered.
I’ll be sharing three things you can do now to make your publisher notice you and want to spend more time and money on promoting your book.
Your publisher wants your book to succeed and probably has an amazing Marketing department (I’ve been a part of a few of those), but what you might not realize is that the Marketing department is juggling a lot of books and authors at once plus other projects and priorities. Let me show you how to be the they are most excited to work with.

FAQ
When are the workshops?
Once you purchase you’ll have access to the workshops and workbooks so you can watch at your own pace.
Who is this series of workshops for?
Anyone who has a book deal or wants a book deal with a traditional publisher.
Do I have to be done writing my book to benefit from these workshops + calls?
No! Thinking about how you will market your book is something you should start as soon as you have an idea of what your book is about. Plus, your agent, editor and publisher will be impressed and know you are serious about your book if you’ve done all of this.
What is the format of the strategic implementation calls?
The calls are one-on-one for one hour each. This time will be spent going through any questions you have about the workshops, creating a marketing plan that is actionable and achievable. I am all about meeting my clients where they are at. If you’re new to social media, I’m not going to ask you to post every day. If you have an active and engaged platform already, we’ll move thru my proprietary framework to upleveling your marketing and reach.

Meet Stephanie
From leading campaigns for New York Times Best Sellers, securing partnerships with brands like the San Francisco Public Library and securing coverage in Oprah’s coveted Holiday Favorite Things list, Stephanie has the experience and expertise to empower authors to authentically market their books.
Over the 10+ years working at traditional publishers, Stephanie noticed a trend. Authors who had spent years researching and writing their book, did little to nothing to market their book. Stephanie knew she had to change this and built her business around empowering authors to feel confident in sharing their story and expertise.
On the weekends you can find Stephanie tending to her cut-flower garden, taste testing hard kombuchas or getting comfy on the sofa with a book.
